Believe and Na Maka Japan at Inazawa Hall

This past August, Believe made its third trip to Japan. The girls had a blast performing at a shopping mall, doing a concert at Inazawa Hall and immersing themselves in Japan’s unique culture. Believe was blessed to have a few dancers from Na Maka O Pu’uwai Aloha Hawaii and their director Mandi Scott with them. One of the dancers was none other then Shannon Scott from KCCN FM100! Also featured in the performances were dancers from Na Maka Japan. In their spare time Believe and the crew got to visit a miso factory, sake factory, Lagunasia Water Park and the Okazaki Castle.  Check out the photo gallery to see more pictures of Believe in Japan.

Believe will be performing at Hawaii Theatre on Nov. 6.

The ladies of Believe will be performing at the annual Na Maka O Pu’uwai Aloha Hoike at Hawaii Theatre on Nov. 6. Other talents include the amazing vocalists Hoku Zuttermeister and DJ/Comedian Shannon Scott. IT will be a night of beautiful Hawaiian and Polynesian music with a bit of comedy that will have you rolling in your seat.

Believe CD to be Release in Japan Aug. 27, 2010

After a lot of hard work in the studio, “Bridge Between Cultures” the latest release from Believe is now complete. The recordings were done at Kai Studios and The Mountain Apple Company and produced by Believe and Lawrence Yurong. The CD is a mini disc that features three songs in Hawaiian and one in Japanese. One of the Hawaiian songs “Mai Luna Mai E” is an original written by Malama. It will be released this week in Japan on the 27th . The girls will be promoting the album with mall performances, autograph sessions and concerts in Ichinomiya, Japan from Aug. 26th to September 2nd. Their Performances will feature hula dancers from Na Maka O Pu’uwai Aloha-Hawaii and Na Maka O Pu’uwai Aloha-Japan.

Believe will be performing at Hong Kong Disneyland

Believe has been invited to perform in Hong Kong Disneyland during Spring Break 2010. They are going to be in the Disneyland Parade and will be doing  a concert featuring singers from Na Maka O Pu’uwai Aloha.
